அனைத்துலக காணாமற்போனோர் நாள் (International Day of Enforced Disappearnce) August 30 ஆம் நாளன்று உலகெங்கும் அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. உலகின் பல நாடுகளிலும் காவற்துறையினராலோ அல்லது பாதுகாப்புப் படையினராலோ பல்வேறு காரணங்களுக்காகவும் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு காணாமற்போவோர் குறித்த ஒரு விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தும் முகமாக இந்நாள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டது. அன் நாளில் இலங்கை இராணுவத்தினால் வலிந்து காணாமல் ஆக்கப்பட்ட எம் தமிழ் உறவுகளை நினைத்து மாபெரும் போராட்டம் ஒழுங்கு செய்யப்பட்டது. பெரும்பாலான புலம்பொயர் தமிழர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்

International day of the victims of enforced disappearances is observed all over the world on August 30. The day has been chosen to raise awareness of those who have been arrested and disappeared for various reasons by police or security forces in many countries around the world.
