Methagu is a Biopic of Tamil National Leader and his leadership for the legitimate struggle of Eelam Tamils against chauvinistic oppression. The movie is based on the available source of evidence.

Methagu- II, which is a continuance of Methagu-I, is categorically a political feature movie spanning over twelve years of history during which Eelam Tamils’ lives got radical change from being subjected to ethnic subjugation to getting mobilized towards the freedom struggle spearheaded by Honorable Mr. V. Prabaharan. Political climate which was in need of armed struggle, holocaust of Tamils, genocide of Tamils in all aspects, up-growth of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam from being a guerrilla outfit to disciplined people’s army, conspiracy of regional and imperialist powers for the betterment of their own interests and in favor of state terrorism of Sri Lanka are vibrantly made known in Methagu-II without compromising the facts for any reason.

The movie titled “Methagu” (His Excellency in English) is a kind of biopic that portrays the early years of Mr.Prabhakaran who gave the courageous leadership for the upsurge of the people of Tamil nation who fought for their lost rights in the Sri Lankan island. In this movie, childhood and boyhood of Mr.Prabhakaran are portrayed and depicting the historical events that had an immense impact on him since the time, he was infancy. This film pulls us all back into the life of the period from 1954 to 1975 in Ceylon (Sri Lanka). Conceptually speaking, this movie is about the history of the birth of a leader who gave birth to the upright history for his people.
